Christmas Order Deadlines 2025
The lead up to Christmas & the holiday season is a particular busy period for us at Custom Steel Appeal, as well as with Australia Post.
Here are the important dates to take note of if you are looking to receive your order before Christmas:
Fully Custom Sign Designs:
The number of enquiries increases dramatically at this time of year, we always recommend getting in touch as early as possible. Please submit your enquiry before Thursday 27 November 2025.
We are happy to take enquiries will be taken after this date, however designs will be prioritised in the order they are received. Custom signs can take up to 1-3 weeks depending on any missing info and any revisions required.
Pre-designed Signs & Garden Art:
(excluding Custom Pet Memorial from Photo - for turnaround purposes this is classified as a fully custom design)
Regular Postage*:
Painted/powder-coated items: 23 November 2025
All other orders: 10 December 2025
Express Postage*:
Painted/powder-coated items: 30 November 2025
All other orders: 17 December 2025
Pickup Orders:
Painted/Powder-coated items: Wed 3 December 2025
All other orders: Sun 21 December 2025^
We always recommend getting your order in as early as possible to avoid any manufacturing delays, as the time it takes to create & pack your order does increase during the peak holiday period.
*These dates are based on Australia Post's Christmas delivery schedule and they are based on metro delivery. We recommend upgrading to express post for all orders in December to avoid any delays within the postal system, especially for rural areas. Once your package leaves our warehouse, the actual delivery time will be in the hands of Australia Post and the Postage Gods.
^We will have limited pickup times Mon 22 & Tues 23 December due to family obligations.
Christmas/New Year Operating Hours 2025
Our online store will remain open throughout the Christmas/New Year period, however we will be operating with limited production and warehouse hours due to the public holidays.
Please note that order pickups will be by appointment only, as our warehouse will be unstaffed on most days.
We will be closed on 24 December and all public holidays.
Additionally, our suppliers and powder coaters will be closed from Friday 19 December to Monday 5 January, which may cause delays for orders requiring these services.
We will be back to regular 'business as usual' from Monday 5 January 2026.
